As you may or may not know, I am from Germany and I honestly think that we have good music in our country. Since I am currently still far away from home, I miss it even more and therefore, I love to listen to German music. The thought of coming home after 13 months, which will happen by the end of October, and not knowing any of the songs that were released in that time period, does feel a little weird but I’m sure that I will catch up quickly. I only included songs that are in German and not just by a German artist. Even if you don’t know the language, go ahead and give some of the songs a shot. I think that a good song is one that you like, even though you don’t understand a word. Here is a list with some of my absolute favorite German songs and as usual, it’s a pretty wild mix. I literally listen to every genre.
