But obviously you couldn’t

Instead you hurt me and leave me behind

I just wanna know what’s on your mind

Look at me and talk to me

The truth in your eyes I want to see

You made me smile after a bad day

You always knew the right things to say

You didn’t expect this to happen, neither did I
