A couple of weeks ago, I finally visited my best friend in Mainz. We definitely don’t see each other enough so it was great to have some hang out time, together. Of course, I brought my camera and took some pictures when we went for walks with her dog or shopping in the city. To be honest, it’s a little funny that I did this now because I used to live in Mainz, when I went to university there. I never gave the city an actual chance and never really loved it there, although it is actually very beautiful. I don’t know, I can be weird. Anyway, I saw a few corners that I’ve never been to before and enjoyed it, very much.

It is definitely a nice city to visit because it offers lots of cultural things to do and is located next to the Rhein, which is especially nice in the summer. You’ll often have the chance to visit popular events like the wine festival or the beautiful Christmas market. Mainz is also one of the biggest celebrators when it comes to Karneval and if you like it a little more chill, roam around and enjoy the beautiful architecture.

Quite a while ago, I posted another photography post with a handful of pictures of Mainz but this post definitely contains a lot more. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t ideal but still, I managed to take a few pretty snaps. I hope you enjoy them any maybe you’ll even visit, someday.
